BRILLIANT! Music is brilliant, story is great but I didn't like the ending much (when jack is acting santa) but its Tim Burtons style, so I wasn't surprised

The film only gets better upon repeat viewings. A musical with a Tim Burton style to it, you can't help falling in love with it.

The story evolves around Jack Skellington, the leader of Halloween town. By mistake, he finds the entrance to Christmas town and is amazed by it all. He finds the happiness that he has lost during all the years just planning the next Halloween event. Unfortunately, no one else in Halloween town understands the true meaning of X-mas...

The film consists of a macabre world full of wonderful characters. Danny Elfman's score is beautiful with many memorable songs sung by himself. Filmed with the stop-motion technique, it gives the Nightmare a unique feeling.

Truly without any doubts, this is the best animated movie and the best musical ever made. Watch it every Christmas and enjoy it every time. Soon, I will sing a long with Jack...

The Rankin/Bass Christmas specials of old get the macabre and twisted treatment from the mind of Tim Burton. The plot owes more than a bit of gratitude to Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, but the visuals and characters are all very obviously born from the mind of Burton. I vividly remember going to see this movie during the holiday season in 1993 when I was six-years-old. I wasn't sure how my life was changed, or even why, but I knew that I had seen something that was going to leave an indelible impression upon my mind and being. To this day I know the words to the songs, and even more than a few of the dance steps. I can recite dialogue, and draw the characters from memory. What can I say? Singing and dancing nightmarish creatures make me happy.

this is by far the most incredible stop-motion animation movie i've seen in my entire life...how to mix christmas with halloween, ask Tim burton....
cause he did it RIGht in this movie!!!
Jack Skellington is an attaching fellow who want s to try something,to be something else, hes tired of his halloween crown,Photobucket..the pumkin king is ready to venture into the world of christmas to steal it and reclame the place of Santa.
but things turns differently than he imagined.Photobucket... and the rest is up to you to follow...^.^

My favorite Disney movie of all time. This is such an awesome movie, and ironically, I used to be afraid of this movie as a child. But this is a great example of awesome claymation.

I do not like this movie and think that it is inappropriate for small children because it gives them the wrong perception of Christmas. and I am sorry when a child opens a present and finds a head it is just not funny.

It's a fantastic movie, loved it ever since I was a little kid. I don't know why though...but it's kind of become a 'trend' these days to like it. Really bothers me.
